Roxanne Botman (she/her) is a People & Culture Consultant, Career Confidence Coach for Black professionals globally, and a Design Thinking Coach at the Hasso Plattner School of Design Thinking Afrika. She partners with venture capitalists and investors to help their portfolio startups develop people strategies and practices that enable scale-up or sale. Roxanne also serves as a trustee of the Russel Botman Bursary Fund, advancing access to higher education and social transformation in South Africa. With over a decade of experience, she empowers professionals and organisations to lead with confidence, purpose, and sustainable growth.

Bold Beings Coaching & Consulting helps experienced Black professionals earn more and live life on their own terms through transformational career confidence coaching. We also partner with venture capitalists and investors to strengthen their startup investments by developing people strategies and practices that enable scale-up or sale. In addition, we offer People & Culture training, including DEI-focused development, leadership thinking partnerships, and speaking engagements that inspire inclusive, high-performance cultures.

What products/services do you sell?

I offer transformational career coaching programs for experienced Black professionals seeking to advance their earning potential and career confidence. For organisations, venture capitalists, and investors, I provide People & Culture consulting to design strategies and practices that enhance high performance, productivity, and scalability - enabling startups to grow or prepare for sale. My services also include leadership development, inclusive workplace training, and keynote speaking engagements that help teams build trust, clarity, and sustainable success.

What is your biggest goal for personal and professional improvement or growth?

Professionally I would like to improve my networking confidence (it's not at zero, but I would like to improve), so that I can see the outcomes of my new business strategy to focus on venture capitalists and investors to work with their portfolio startups to develop people strategies that lead to scale up or sale
