I'm an adventurous spirit and love playing in the dirt 🌱

I suffer from fernweh, a desire to travel so strong I feel homesick for places I've never been.

I'm from the Kawartha Lakes part of Ontario, but I've travelled a lot and lived in British Columbia, the USA, and Australia (where I went to school and played rugby)🏉

I gave marketing my love for 20 years, mostly as an SEO copywriter/editor/manager. I've been told I write in a tone that’s a weird cross between Hemingway and Amy Schumer (and I love that).

In 2025, I jumped into community and learning, and that feels like home 🏡. I'm happy to be here inside Circle 🤩

When I'm not in my gardens wearing a toque, I'm probably in a forest inhaling pine, or sleeping under the stars in my aerial tent.

My 6-year goal is to live out of a van and a backpack 🎒 and never stop exploring the outside world 🏕️. This is something the Norwegians call friluftsliv.

If I won the lottery, I'd head for places unknown with a loose plan and a spring in my step 🥾

My UVP: Turn courses, community, and LinkedIn into pipeline.

What products/services do you sell?

Community building (I'm brand new with only one build in Circle), community managing (also new but I LOVE it), ghostwriting (20 years of experience across every conceivable piece of content, including blogs, landing pages, LinkedIn Thought Leadership posts).

What is your biggest goal for personal and professional improvement or growth?

I have a fun voice when it comes to writing, and I'd like to use that to make communities welcoming and maybe a little cheeky. I am also confident about ramping up on building in Circle. But community strategy and management... I have much to learn there!

What is your biggest challenges that you’d like to overcome in the hivemind?

Community strategy.

How can you help others in the community?

WRITING! This is how I paid the bills for 20 years. I also have some operations experience and L&D experience, which is why moving into skill-building community infrastructure feels natural.
